Accountant (General) – 会计师（一般）

• 协助制定预算和会计政策；assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies;
• 编制财务报表，提交董事会、管理层、股东、理事和法定机构；preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies;

在新西兰，获得会计师职位、并且以会计师身份递交技术移民申请，并不强制需要获得职业注册资格，不过由于雇主在实际工作中的偏好，拥有可会计注册所需要的学历、并且在朝注册会计师努力，将能帮助你增加就业市场中的竞争力，因此，在选择会计专业的留学课程时，最好选择澳新会计师协会（Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand – CA ANZ）或澳洲会计师协会（CPA Australia）等会计职业协会所认可的本科或硕士学历。

会计师的薪酬水平取决于工作的地区、经验水平以及工作的机构的规模。

毕业生从助理会计师做起，年薪在3.5万至7.5万纽币之间。会计师的收入在6万至11.5万纽币之间。根据2017年的行业统计记过，会计师的平均收入在$66,300纽币左右，但并非所有人都将成为合格的全注册会计师，完成职业注册的会计师的平均收入是$140,700纽币。

2006年至2013年，会计师的从业人员保持稳定。到2026年，随着经济的持续改善，对会计师的需求预计将以每年3%左右的速度增长。相当高比例的会计师会离开新西兰到海外工作，这也造成了新西兰国内的会计职位空缺。

会计师不是新西兰长期短缺职业，不过在部分地区属于即时短缺职业（Immediate Skill Shortage List），符合条件的申请人在申请技能工作签证（Essential Skills Work Visa）时享有『免除劳工测试』的优惠政策。
