Electronics Engineer – 电子工程师

• 设计用于计算机、通信和控制系统以及其他工业应用的电子元件、电路和系统；designing electronic components, circuits and systems used for computer, communication and control systems, and other industrial applications,
• 设计用于这种系统的软件，特别是嵌入式软件；designing software, especially embedded software, to be used within such systems,
• 开发用于测试电子元件、电路和系统的装置和程序，developing apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systems,
• 监督计算机，通信和控制系统的安装和调试，确保适当的控制和保护方法，supervising installation and commissioning of computer, communication and control systems, and ensuring proper control and protection methods,
• 建立和监控这些系统在操作、修改、维护和维修时的性能和安全标准以及程序，establishing and monitoring performance and safety standards and procedures for operation, modification, maintenance and repair of such systems,
• 设计基于有线、光纤和无线的通信承载媒介，designing communications bearers based on wired, optical fibre and wireless communication media,

在新西兰，在申请技术移民时，并不要求工程师获得职业注册，不过在实际的工作中，雇主更偏好获得了4年制工程荣誉本科的申请人，同时有4年工程荣誉本科也更容易获得工程师这一职位。常见的工程专业课程包括：2年制6级大专、3年制7级本科、4年制8级荣誉学士、9级1至1.5年制授课硕士、9级1年制研究制硕士，以及更高级别的博士学位；在澳新职业大典中分别对应不同等级的职位。

在新西兰，电子工程专业的对口课程包括：

电子工程师在新西兰的就业市场上和移民政策上均属于紧缺职业，其薪酬取决于他们的经验和工作类型。新晋的电子工程师年薪预计在5万至6.5万纽币之间。有经验的电子工程师可以挣6.5万到11万纽币，甚至更多。

电子工程师是新西兰移民局规定的长期短缺职业。

获得长期短缺职业加分及签证政策，需要符合以下条件之一：

• A Washington Accord accredited (initial) engineering degree；华盛顿公约认可的工程学历；
• A Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (NZQF Level 8)；新西兰学历等级8级的工程师荣誉学士学位；
• A qualification at NZQF Level 7 or higher, with a letter from Engineering New Zealand certifying that the degree and any further learning meet the benchmark requirements towards Chartered Professional Engineer professional status in New Zealand；持有一个与新西兰学历等级7级或以上级别学历相关的工程学历，并且新西兰工程师职业委员会认可该学历以及其他资质符合新西兰注册工程师的要求；
